BYS Season Concert 2025

“ A Night at the Movies”

Step into an evening of cinematic magic with the Brunei Youth Symphony (BYS) in “A Night at the Movies”  – a live orchestral concert celebrating the unforgettable soundtracks that have defined generations of film lovers. Join us as Brunei’s talented young musicians bring your favourite movie moments to life through music, from heart-stirring classics to modern masterpieces.

  • Event Theme: “A Night at the Movies”
    Date: Saturday, 6 December 2025
    Time: 7.30pm – 9pm (estimate)
    Recommended for ages 5 and above
  • Dress Code: Smart Casual or semi-formal attire encouraged
  • Doors Open: 30 mins before showtime
  • Late arrivals:  Guests arriving after the concert has begun may be asked to wait until an appropriate pause before being seated.
  • Photography:  Non-flash photography and personal recording are permitted as long as it does not disrupt the performance or block the view of other guests. The use of tripods, flash, or professional recording equipment is not allowed  
  • Parking: Limited parking available on-site so early arrival is recommended.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Ticket Validity
    Each ticket admits one person only and is valid solely for the date and time stated. Please present either a printed or digital copy of your e-ticket for entry.

  2. Refunds and Exchanges
    All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be issued unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled by the organiser. If the event is postponed, tickets will remain valid for the new date.

  3. Admission Policy
    The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any person whose conduct is deemed disruptive or inappropriate. Latecomers may be asked to wait until a suitable break in the performance before being seated.

  4. Children Policy
    Children aged 5 and above are welcome but must hold a valid ticket. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

  5. Photography & Recording
    Non-flash photography and personal recording are permitted provided they do not disrupt the performance or obstruct the view of other guests. The use of tripods, flash, or professional recording equipment is not allowed without prior authorisation.

  6. Seating & Access
    Seating will be assigned according to the ticket type or section purchased through the ticketing platform. Guests are requested to sit only in their designated seats. Please inform the organiser in advance if you require special accessibility arrangements.

  7. Liability
    The organiser will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the event, except where caused by negligence.

  8. Programme Changes
    The organiser reserves the right to make changes to the programme, performers, or schedule without prior notice.

  9. Personal Belongings
    Guests are advised to keep personal items secure at all times. The organiser is not responsible for any lost or stolen property.

  10. Health & Safety
    Attendees must comply with any current venue regulations or health and safety guidelines in effect on the day of the event.
